The Plough Restaurant

The Old Plough Restaurant is situated in the High Street. The building dates back to the sixteenth century.

In 1764 the village had two public houses, The Crown and The Plough. In the 1970’s, for a period of time, the Plough was a private house. It then reopened as a restaurant.

In the 1980’s it became the Old Plough and was much frequented by members of the horse racing industry.

The Restaurant is currently owned and run by Tony and Gina.
